Celebrating Community Foundation is very grateful for the support we have received as we work toward completion of the Celebrating Community Project. In addition to the grant awards noted below, we have also received many generous donations from community members and businesses in the Siouxland community, both financial and in-kind.

Celebrating Community Foundation was awarded two $10,000 grants from the Missouri River Historical Development in support of the Celebrating Community Project.

Celebrating Community Foundation was awarded a Project Grant in the amount of $50,000 from the Gilchrist Foundation to be used toward the production costs of the abstract steel sculpture, one component of the Celebrating Community Project.

Celebrating Community Foundation received a grant award of $10,000 from Humanities Iowa, a state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, in support of the Celebrating Community Project.

Celebrating Community Foundation received a Project for Organizations Grant in the amount of $9,000 from the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. Funding for the Iowa Arts Council is provided by the State of Iowa and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Celebrating Community Foundation was awarded two Fund for Siouxland Grants from the Siouxland Community Foundation in the amount of $5,000 and $2,500 in support of the Celebrating Community Project.

Celebrating Community Foundation was awarded a $5,000 Powell Group Fund Grant through the Baton Rouge Area Foundation in support of the Celebrating Community Project.

Celebrating Community Foundation was awarded two $1000 grants from Iowa Scottish Rite Masonic Fund in support of the Celebrating Community Project.

The bronze bust of Women’s honoree, Marilyn Murphy was sponsored by a $25,000 grant from the Kind World Foundation.

Celebrating Community Foundation was awarded several grants totaling $5,500 from the Wells Fargo Foundation in support of the Celebrating Community Project.

Celebrating Community Foundation was awarded a $2,500 grant by Tyson Fresh Meats toward the bronze bust sponsorship for Tomasa Salas, Hispanic/Latino honoree.
