Project Update – 6/30/15

The arc was installed in front of the MLK Transportation Center downtown on Thursday and Friday, June 25 & 26th.  The installers will be finishing up some things related to that on site this week as well. Project Update – 1/4/2015

The Celebrating Community Project continues moving forward as we work toward project completion in Fall, 2015. All thirteen honorees have been selected by the committees representing each group. The artist, Mark Avery, continues making progress on the clay models, which then go to the foundry for mold-making, bronze pouring, chasing, etc. Progress has also been made with fabrication of the large abstract steel sculpture, which may be installed on site Spring, 2015.
